Broadoaks Country House - Troutbeck

It recognises that dogs are guests too and that, if their owners are coming to one of the UK’s walking capitals, they’re going to want to bring their best friend. Consequently their needs have been treated with the same level of thought and consideration as their owners’.
The hotel is serious about the attention to detail it extends to its smallest visitors, right down to a welcome treat or two on arrival from Flo, the house Cavapoo. There’s even a four-paws menu – special dietary requirements catered for - and a DDBB (Doggie Dinner Bed and Breakfast) rate.
Embleton Spa Hotel - Embleton
Originally an 18th Century Lakeland farm house, the Embleton Spa Hotel is a relaxed, informal hotel with delightful en-suite rooms, suites and apartments. Dogs are welcome throughout the hotel, the only exception being the swimming pool! There is however a plethora of great swimming spots nearby, with Bassenthwaite Lake less than a mile away - its a firm favourite of Inca the resident Labrador.

Rothay Manor - Ambleside
A holiday in the Lake District just wouldn’t be the same without your 4-legged friend! The George and Dragon - Clifton
The George and Dragon Clifton is a stylish country inn with a cosy bar, and eleven comfortable bedrooms, individually designed and decorated. Located in a secluded part of the Lake District, the newest World Heritage Site, yet within easy access of the M6.
Enjoy fresh, seasonal food, local ales and fine wines in their relaxing and welcoming restaurant. They grow and rear much of their own produce at their nearby sister establishment Askham Hall. Ravenstone Manor - Bassenthwaite
Ravenstone Manor aim to provide a comfortable atmosphere free of formality. Quiet, relaxed, and far away from the bustle of everyday life, the hotel is one of the most dog-friendly hotels in the Lake District where four legged friends are treated just the same as other hotel guests. When booking direct with the hotel, their stay is free of charge. Ravenstone Manor even provide warm water washing facilities and doggy treats to spoil them after their walks. Dogs are welcome in the dining area and bar as well as your room, so they can enjoy their stay as much as you will.
Tebay Services Hotel - Orton
